The 6th Mediterranean Basin Conference on Analytical Chemistry has been initiated in the city of Cordoba (Spain) and has now more that 14 years of existence. It is important to remind the primary objectives of this conference whose objectives in to promote the cultural and scientific exchange of knowledge around analytical chemistry which is a fundamental requisite to promote understanding and rational sustainable development of the quality of life of people leaving around the Mediterranean Seas. This is the basic spirit of cooperation and exchange that conference want to promote at all levels, academic scientist, people in charge of managing the resources and the environment as well as the seas, students working in this areas. This edition follows the previous series of conference that were initially held in : 1rst MBCAC : Cordoba (Spain) Chairman: A. Sanz Medel (5-10 November 1995)- 2nd MBCAC : Rabat (Morocco)Â Â Â Chairman: A. Laachach (23-28 November 1997)

- 5th MBCAC:   Silvi Marina   (Italy)   Chairman: S. Caroli   (24-28 May 2005)
Beyond the traditional topics of analytical chemistry that will be addressed to improve our knowledge of managing the environment, we will promote 2 major round tables which will address 2 critical issues of these areas. They are: Water and Pollution of the Mediterranean Sea. The 6th edition will take place          in Pau (France) from October 26 to 31th. |
